Hydrogen Storage, Distribution & Mixing
To meet ambitious targets for greenhouse gas emissions reduction, hydrogen has been identified as a clean “green” fuel of interest. In comparison to fossil fuel use, hydrogen source has the following advantages:
- Zero CO2 emissions from the combustion process, water as final product
- Obtained from renewable energy sources.
- Higher gravimetric energy content
- Wider flammability limits
Hydrogen can be stored in various storage methods, accordingly to size, physical status and summarized asper as shown in the image above.
PSC has been involved from recognized, international Companies for the project design of Hydrogen storage, distribution system that fed a metallurgic treatment unit.
The designed plant generally consist of two sections:
- Gas unloading and storage station
- Gas mixing unit and delivery to users
All hydrogen package is surrounded and under bunker installed with fire firefighting system.
