Produced water treatment for injection
CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery is a recent process to improve oil production.
Thanks to this new process, CO2 is compressed and injected in the well, minimizing the quantity of water injection.
Produced water is sourced from Oil & Gas production wells, after primary oil/water separation or desalting process.
It is common practice to treat produced water from crude oil processing for environmental issue (Very toxic wastewater due to hydrocarbons, BTEX, salinity concentration, etc..).
The long experience in produced water treatment design, allows PSC to propose customized solutions and optimization.
One possible reuse is to recycle the treated water as water injection, prior treating with specific process to remove the main contaminants to enhance oil production from wells, especially after long periods of operation.
