Waste water treatment from biomethanation process
The industrial effluent is obtained from the bio-methanation of CO2 gas stream. The biological bio-methanation process is based on a planktonic and patented biological catalyst that converts CO2 and hydrogen gases into methane and water in a stirred reactor under controlled process conditions: anaerobic, pH and temperature.
The excess biocatalyst liquid must be continuously removed from the reactor to maintain a constant level and consists of the following substances: nutrients, sulphides, chelating sequestrants, ammonia and anti-foaming agents.
PSC designs and supplies sustainable industrial wastewater treatment in order to recycle the patented biological catalyst back into the same bioreactor. Then the excess water may be treated to be discharged into the sewer within the limits of specific regulations or for other uses.
